From Mike: Day +35 (Day 29 in ICU)

No news = good news. Dawn's vitals are still stable. They have lowered the concentration of nitric oxide to 8 parts per million. She was at 20 parts per million. The nitric oxide was the last-resort thing they had to save Dawn's life saturday morning. It helps by opening up the little blood vessels in the lungs. Her liver bilirubin is still high but stable around 20. They don't plan on making any changes today. It's still all about rest and healing.

Unless something happens I probably won't post any additional updates today. Those of you who want to help with the battle with leukemia can donate blood and register to be a bone marrow donor. If you already have, thank you! Now recruit a friend!

I know Dawn through the postings she made on the LLS discussion board. Just wanted to pass on that those of us fellow "CML'rs" are rooting for her and praying for her during this difficult time. She's in our thoughts and we're all hoping that 2009 brings healing and health. Maggie

Hi Dawn.. just wanted to let you know you're in my thoughts and prayers! Even though I only met you once, our brief encounter allowed us to share our similar and very different experiences with CML and I know that you are a strong person with so much to offer (including your extra Gleevec.. thanks again!) You are oviously not giving up without a fight and thank god. Stay strong and positive-- so many people are rooting for you!! hope to talk to you in the future.
love Bronwyn

Just hoping and praying that no news is still good news! We don't know each other. I came across your site when doing some research on gleevac and cml. A close friend of mine also has cml. I've been keeping you all in my prayers and just wanted to let you know people you don't even know are praying for you and care about you!! Hang in there!!

Dawn – May 2009 bring you vitality & stability in your health.

Mike - you know, you guys mean the world to me. My hope, for you, her family and all of us that are pulling for her, is that she wakes up healthy and happy soon. Tell her “T” said "my birthday passed and no-one thought to send me one of those silly pin the tail on the donkey cards, so I’m waiting for her to get up and get strong."

Lots of love to you both,
Tannis
